This Simpsons Special shaving brush is made from sterilized pure badger hair housed in an imitation ivory handle.
Pure badger hair is coarser than other grades of badger hair which is great for gently exfoliating the skin prior to shaving. A pure badger hair brush will generate a creamy lather from both shaving creams and soaps.
Applying your shaving cream or soap with a shaving brush will soften the hairs while lifting them away from the face, leading to a more comfortable shave.
